Once again, technology is helping us in ministry. This time it is the ministry of prayer. We recently set up a texting system for getting out emergency prayer requests instantly.
If you wish to be part of the cvcc Text Message Prayer Alert System you can follow the these steps.
1.) Subscribe to the the Alert System by sending the letters praycvcc (no spaces) to 41411
2.) You will receive a text Message that says welcome to praycvcc’s Text Message Prayer Alert System.
3.) When urgent prayer requests emerge we will send them out via text message and e-mail (when possible). This is typically a few times a month, and at times nothing for a month. Occasionally (like when someone is in critical condition) several updates will be sent in a week. Standard text message costs apply as your personal phone plan outlines. (Note: a small ad sometimes appears at the bottom of the text message.)
4.) If you do NOT have text messaging or e-mail, and you want a personal phone call with the urgent cvcc requests we would be glad to provide that. Just let us know (call the office).
5.) When you want to un-subscribe to the service at any time you just send “STOP” as a reply and you are automatically taken off the service.
