There is no question that thing are changing in our society.  Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the not-so-good, but changing non-the-less.

One of the recent changes in our culture is how we use money.  It used to be cash, check or money-order. Now days it’s credit or debit cards instead of cash.  We at CVCC are very much aware of the trend to go cashless and want to make room for those who wish to donate using their credit or debit cards.

Recently, we have teamed up with Tithe.ly to provide you with a secure and powerful portal through which you can give to CVCC whenever you wish.  It will be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  You can give anywhere and anytime you wish.

With this system you will be able to give online, or through your mobile device or through email.  Your giving can be truly intentional and can take place whenever you feel led to support CVCC in it’s efforts to love people to Jesus.

For those of you who wish to give on a regular basis you can set up a recurring gift that will automatically be deducted from your credit or debit card or checking account according to your instructions.   You can give any amount you wish from $1.00 on up.

All financial information is encrypted and stored by Tithe.ly’s banking partner to PCI DSS Level 1 compliant standards. PCI DSS Level 1 compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party. It is the highest possible rating one can get in the electronic payment processing industry. Additionally, Tithe.ly forces HTTPS for all transaction services

Receipts

Tithe.ly will send you an email receipt for each gift you make. Once you set up your account (see below for instructions) you can print a report of your giving to-date at any time through your account dashboard. All donations to CVCC are tax deductible. In the future you’ll be able to make special donations to activities like youth summer camp scholarships, etc.

When Will CVCC Receive Your Donation?

Depending on your method of payment CVCC will receive your donation within 2 to 7 days.  Funds are settled directly into our designated bank account.

Can I Give Through My Mobile Phone?

Yes you can once you’ve set up your giving account.  The process is quite easy. Text “give” to (425) 999-3306 and follow the prompts to establish your account. Once you’ve done that you will be able to make a donation at any time by simply sending a text message.

Can I Give Through The Web?

Yes, you can.  Log into your Tithe.ly.  You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation. 

Does It Cost Anything To Use the Tithe.ly System?

No it does not.  There is absolutely no cost to you in making an online or mobile phone donation through the Mogive System.

What Does it Cost CVCC If I Give Online?

There is a small fee that is charged to CVCC for each online donation.  It is no more than the cost of a postage stamp ($0.44) plus any merchant fees (1 to 3.5%) that goes to your credit card company or bank. If you are concerned about fees charged to CVCC you can select an option to cover those fees in your donation.
